Trinidad trip with Bridging The Gap Urban Ministries

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Our ministry team, Bridging The Gap Urban Ministries (BTGUM), in a joint effort with CHAMPS Missions (CHAMPS stands for Christ Helpers and Missions Preparing Servants) has been given a wonderful opportunity to minister the gospel outside of the continental United States in Trinidad from March 10, 2012 to March 17, 2012. In order to make this venture possible, we are in need of people and organizations who will commit to supporting us through prayer. We need to have our remaining balance of the airfare ($505) by January 20, 2012 and the final portion of $775 by February 21, 2012. Unless you are very blessed financially and feel your heart burdened to give, then do so; but know that for this trip, I am not asking for money. I understand that the economy is so bad right now and I am asking for your powerful prayers alone. God already provided $100 for me without me asking anyone and therefore I believe he will continue to provide it in his perfect plan.

While in Trinidad, we will be participating in door to door and park ministry, evangelism, helping in medical clinics, going presentations in schools and working with local churches to help with outreach events they are putting on.

Living Proof- monday- mall- madness!

Father,

You are so good. you met me this morning in the sanctuary... as i prayed and asked for you to come. You spoke to me through your word. I thank you for that! I thank you that i get to freely pray to you :]. today was pretty crazyy, we went to the mall to pick out an outfit and we got a sweet budget for an outfit and different stuff we had to buy :] it was really fun hanging out with my team mates and other people in the ministry! everyone has amazing personalities and i'm so glad you allowed them to come into my life and I in theirs :]. You are so good, God. You help me out so much! You make me into the person that I am today! I pray that you would continue to stretch me in crazy ways and that I would get out of my comfort zone more and more each day :]. Thank you for helping me to find what i needed to get at the mall! I pray that you would help me to find heels tomorrow at the mall! You have placed different people in my life throughout this ministry to help lift me up when im feeling down and to help spur me on in my faith! They challenge me! And i pray that i would do the same for them! Today I found out that I got a solo and a back up solo :] Im pretty excited about that!! THank you so much for that! I pray that I would grow in my faith like never before! and that people would see you in me... that i would be salt and light and that people would notice a difference in me. I don't wanna be lazy anymore, i don't wanna be irresponsible anymore, i don't wanna be selfish anymore... I want to be a bold, salty, christ like, friend of God :].
